Programs & Services

Family Promise Rochester currently offers three core programs to assist families facing housing insecurity or homelessness. Our programs and services focus around five key elements represented by the five points of the star in our logo: shelter, prevention, stabilization, community, and promise.

We work to prevent families from becoming homeless in the first place through services like resource referrals and eviction prevention assistance. Families must commit to three months of stabilization case management to receive financial support.

We offer temporary housing and support services for up to 13 families at the Promise House. While in shelter, families commit to working with our case managers to actively pursue housing and their goals.

When families are housed, Family Promise offers ongoing support to help them achieve economic stability and prevent re-entry into homelessness, including peer support, financial literacy programs, and community resources.
