Shelter Diversion + Eviction Prevention

Keeping Families Housed

Keeping Families Housed

Sometimes the difference between staying housed and losing a home is a single month's rent, a car repair, or someone to help negotiate with a landlord.

Our Eviction Prevention & Diversion program steps in at that moment — before a family reaches a shelter.

How We Help

We work alongside families facing a housing crisis to find the fastest, most stable path forward. That might look like:

  • Short-term financial help to stay in a current home

  • Support finding a new place to live

  • Help talking things through with a landlord

  • Connections to other community resources

  • A caring person to walk through the process with

Every situation is different, and our response is built around what a specific family actually needs.

Why It Matters

Preventing homelessness is better for families, and better for our whole community. Staying housed means kids stay in the same school, parents keep their jobs, and families keep the stability they've already built.
